I am... the CHROME LOVER!!!

I love chrome. chromy chrome chrome. I love chrome, chrome is my home. Okay everyone I know it's retro, I know it's what they would call excessive bling bling, but admit it if you're a chromaholic. I'll admit it. I've got both the interior and the exterior chrome packages.

I've been driving around "modern" imports for the past 10 years with very little or no chrome. It's refreshing to drive something that looks both classic and modern at the same time. I love my chrome accents.

So if you're a chromaholic show us your bling bling!

Hi, I'm a chrome addict. I've got the interior & exterior packs and more of it coming so just love me for me being me and not my bling. It's a vicious cycle.

On the serious side I think these cars just scream for chrome because it completes the retro look. It completes me. Whup, there I go again...

Chrome Rules!

I am in!! The only chrome piece I am missing is for the '05 antenna base. I even contacted the manufacturer--AutoTechnica who told me they weren't going to make the piece. I am considering a billet antenna. I ordered the rear license plate chrome piece--but I didn't like it. Actually, I removed my chrome MINI license plate holder also. I might be getting old. I even added those little chrome "furniture cap" pieces to the ugly holes (2 on each door).

I think some of my "fetish" is growing up in the 50's and remembering making faces on the big chrome bumpers of the old Caddies/Olds, etc. Hey, MINI chrome bumpers. I better stop. Have fun, I do. Nick

Chrome is beautiful...it is manna from heaven...a light unto the world.
Chrome is like a great lover...never leaves you lacking...you feel complete.

My 05 MCSDT PS/B has chrome interior/exterior pkgs; after-market chrome taillight trim, cowl covers, doorhandle cups, mirror caps. And more to come.

My 05 MCS JB/JB is the same plus chrome wheels. I always have to buy for twins.

I am not really an addict or real lover of chrome on everything, but I did ordered both int. and ext. chrome pkg for my MCS because these two pkgs do bring a sharp look to the car.

Chrome is good.

My shop tells me that chrome makes my car faster. So shiny it deflects the wind I guess. I put all of the chrome that I could find on my MC, but now I have gone and bought a tricked out MCS, but the owner was anti-chrome and blacked everything out. So I have some work to do. I plan on switching out all of the chrome that I can that looks good. And I just received the chrome dash and diamond plate floor mats from Moss, so I am ready for it.

I am a big chrome lover too. Anyone order the chrome MINI bonnet scoop yet? Not sure if it available in U.S. yet. I must have this part.

From Mini2 "Its not even in the latest accessories catalogue yet, {Aug 05 issue}, but you just ask your dealers parts dept to look up the John Cooper Works Carbon Fibre Scoop, {or JCW Air Inlet} as they call it in the book P/N >> 51 13 0 395 502 << {which incidentally costs £145 } & then look for the Chrome Option"

Count me in as a chrome lover.. but I swing both ways. I love the blacked-out look, too.

That looks too reflective to be "chrome paint." All the chrome paint I've seen is the color of chrome but you can't see perfect reflections in it!

Say, you're always complaining about the white S-Lites... have ya considered getting them chromed?

Chrome is nearly as hard a glass so far harder to scratch than paint or powder coat.

OK saw these guys were at SEMA in Vegas last week, and the finished product actually looks pretty good and reflective, a bit like dirty chrome: http://www.sprayonchrome.com/Gallery.html

Costs thousands for the spraying system, though.
