Interior/Exterior how do I remove throttle pedal???
It's a little awkwards, but still relatively simple. There is a tab inside a notch on the lower part of the base, on the right side, against the firewall. If memory serves, you need a flat screwdriver to press down on the tab then slide the entire assembly to the right. There are two attachment areas, one at the base of the pedal below the hinge (parallel to the floor) and a pin and slide arrangement where the tab/notch is (at the firewall). It's a bit touch to push the pedal to the right as it hits the carpet and puts up a bit of a fight. The tab needs to be depressed through the whole movement too. After it comes off there is a six-pin electrical plug with a short cable that needs to be removed. It has a locking mechanism as well, with a tab-lock arrangement. To replace the pedal reconnect the cable and line up the pedal to the base them push to the left until it's fully locked.
If you are replacing carpet you need to unscrew the mounting base (the part that remains when you remove the pedal) from the floor.
