I'm not a huge fan of the sport seats in the MCS, and I want something more. I was considering replacing them with the e46 M3 seats, but then a guy I know showed me his 2-tone Mercedes E43 AMG seats - check this out. <a href=http://forums.mbworld.org/forums/showthread.php?s=72a240ba2009a494ce19c2c11b260a98& amp;threadid=9035&perpage=10&pagenumber=3& gt; and tell me they aren't the hottest seats you've ever seen? Where can I get a setup like that? (Those are stock)

Cheers!

When you get ready to sell your sport seats, please let me know.
I'm suffering with the regular seats in my MC.

I have the sport seats but I don't think I want them - haven't taken delivery quite yet. What about swapping? Where are you? What's your interior? Mine's black panther leather.

Will there be an issue with your side airbag?

I'm sorry, I'm ignorant on this subject; what would be the problem with the side airbag?

just my .02 on the sport seats....when I first test drove an MCS, I thought they were horrible! the lumbar support in the dealers demo felt like I was leaning against a 2x4. When I finally got mine, they were just about the most comfortable seats I have ever sat in, and that was with the leatherette. They are in more comfortable with the leather! Before dropping ton of cash on replacements (that won't have the side airbags), you might want to get back to your dealer and check them out again, or better yet, find someone with the sports seats and sit in those.

again, just my .02

I have the black profile panther leather. I'm in California. If you are close and want to swap, please let me know.

I hate the sport seats....they just don't hold you in well enough with stock belts. The Schroth make it alot better for track use but they are a little restrictive for most for daily driving. The seats are very comfortable but the support is way behind the abilities of the car in the corners. I'll most likely install a set of sparco seats.

I am interested to change my seats too. Any other recommendation other than sparco or john cooper? Which brand is the most value for money and offer the best racing feel? How much would these cost?

Anyone now what the price on these is? They're mighty nice looking, and have the heated option, though the link didn't say anything about side airbags.

The JCW seats are supposed to be available in leather. I have tried for over a month to get price info, and the best I got was an estimate from JCW of 500-700 british pounds. ($800-$1100). This is not firm, and I suspect will go up. I can't get any word on when they are available.

The seats JCW is using are Sparco Milano in Leather. They retail for $1250 each (non-JCW). Plus $120 for the proper mount and slider. = almost $1400 per seat.

They are not air-bag compliant.

I still have a while before I get my S but I will let you guys know when I swap out the sport seats. I've decided to go with Recaro Sport seats, personally. They're the seats Mitsubishi chose to use in the Evolution, but I'll be getting them in black and tan leather.
