I love Levalle's work as it is just amazing to look at. It appears so real. Yours is excellent as well. The east and west coasts are covered with fire painter, now we need a gulf coast man of fire. Great job!!!

Gorgeous paint-work, but that bonnet-hole is way too close to your ECU. Do you have your air-box sealed to the bonnet?

I would love to get it done, I contacted Mike when I ordered my car... a bit too pricey for my wallet....

my intake and ecu are now just part of the engine compartment. Actually I had removed the entire lower airbox/ecu cover/housing assembly about a year or so ago. No problems at all. I fabbed a secure bracket to hold the ecu from moving. The hole in the hood does a great job of expelling alot of hot air at idle and im sure it moves that much more at cruising speeds. I already have driven the car in the rain with the hood mod and no problems. Afterwards, I opened the hood and no more moisture in the engine compartment then normal. I plan on experimenting with some heat shielding around the intake/ecu in the future, but it seems to run real strong now.

As far as the real fire is concerned, If CARdiac is still in the market for it and you live near Jersey, drop me a line. Im sure we can come in way under "Killer Paints" price and provide you with much much more.

Thanks for noticing the debadging, I also filled the holes in the bonnet, as well as the boot. Just yesterday I painted my side marker lamps to match body color, and today I will be removing my door handles to do the same. Fuel door was colormatched about a month ago. Slow progress. Its not often I get to paint my own stuff. I will post pics of the overall progress as soon as I am complete.

If anyone is interested in the colormatch, let me know. I have kept track of my hours and it should be very affordable if you would like the same work done on your cars.

I've read that fellow de-chromers get 1/2" 3M vinyl tape - black flat, and apply that. Do a search on "beltline" and I think you'll find the threads...

I actually may be taking a road trip to DE in April, where in NJ are you? How long would the process take?
