Thinking of changing color

My 02 is dark silver with a black top.......the original owner changed the white top to black..... a bike fell off my rack a few months ago and I have some damage I need to fix ($900) I'm thinking of having the whole car painted..... I know this is a big job but I am thinking/musing of changing color. Actually black is where I was thinking/going but of all the colors that Mini does or does not offer.....any suggestions? just for fun:smile:

I have seen a really nice lime green Lamborghini and bright orange Lotus Elise recently and was really attracted to those colors. But I believe all louder colors may get "older" faster, while black, silver and white are a bit more timeless. So you have to choose what works for you, I think a Lotus Elise orange MINI with black roof and stripes and wheels would look awesome.

If you're going to repaint the whole kit-n-kaboodle then I'd go for something unique! Perfect opportunity to really "you-ify" your ride. Your pocket book is the limit.

i'd go for that authentic BRG look.

the color that mini calls BRG doesn't look anything like the BRG on
the TR's that i learned to drive stick in.

Sorry its only a photoshop experiment, but you get my drift. Like I said you have a unique Mini Mr.X, so have fun with it. Mine looks like this... gotcha!

If you have some idea what you want it to look like I'll photoshop it for you. Personally that 2-tone is hard to beat, with the cloudlike break in color Go for it!

If you will go crazy, Berky says "pearl white, or orange like on the Lotus", if you are going to stay conservative, go DS/DS, looks really cool.

If Solar Red was available on the 06 MCS, my 05 would have been on the Marketplace Forum months ago!
