Probably stupid question, which lower grill is this?

This is probably a stupid question, but I have just now noticed the chrome bar across the lower grill in this photo of Goaljnky's ride and didnt know what grill/kit this is or if it is stock on new Coopers. I have seen it before but it just clicked. Maybe she could chime in and let me know, or anyone can answer. Thanks.

The chrome bits on the front come with the Chrome Exterior kit option on the '05 Coopers.

I don't believe it is possible without replacing the entire bumper with one from an '05. The bumper has an indent or recess at both ends of the lower grill that the bar fits into. The chromed plastic pieces snap onto the bar itself. Since the '02-'04 have a different bumper there is no place for it to mount. If you really want to add this to your MINI, your best bet would be to look for a used '05 Cooper bumper that was taken off for replacement by an aero kit bumper.

Jeff- I like your bumper better, actually. I wouldn't change it.

Thanks Aldo. That almost sounds like it should go in the pick-up line forum.

Can I chime in too? I like your bumper as well opposed to the '05.

I bought a euro plate (before the car arrived) for the front as Florida doesn't require a front plate, but with the '05 there is no 'specific' place to put it The '04 has that nice little square that fits a euro perfectly. I would trade ya, but mine is black and I don't have the chrome package
