I got the Moss catalog yesterday and there is a woody body kit. It says it is not available yet, but when it becomes available, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE - NO ONE should put that on a Mini. I don't ask much out of life, but I have to instist that nobody get this one!

No, it's yellow. And yes, it looks like a bad, bad dream. The headlight lenses are blacked out in the photo as well; I don't know if that's part of this kit or not.

shudder...

Ooh, its the one with the surf board on it in the gallery?!!
If it wasn't yellow and didn't have the stupid wood bit along the side then it could have potential. I have only seen one picture so forgive me if I seem a little odd in saying that. Some people have actually said they like it in the comments under the picture in the moddied gallery section.

I was just about to post this EXACT same thing.....

Seriously though....a woody kit is no laughing matter. If we keep everyone informed, hopefully we can keep the woody kit phenomenon contained so it doesn't spread.

YES. DO NOT.

Unless you are going to spray paint peace and love on the car and live near a surfing community or are a FREAK.

No woody on the car or whilst driving

Has anyone got other pics of this car. the rear lights look modified from the side view. they look "bumpy". I still think it would look a lot better if the wood bit wasn't there and it was a different color. Get rid of the surf board and I think people will change their opinion. Look past the crazyness of it and see the body kit for what it is. Also, if anyone is good at altering pictures, try to change the color and take away the surf board and wood. It'll be interesting...

There's a front shot of a yellow car with this kit (minus the surfboard) on the back cover of the new Moss Mini catalog, but it's not on their website yet. The rear lights do appear to have some sort of cover on them, but you wouldn't be able to see them in the Moss picture.

I tend to agree. I can't say for sure without seeing it, but if you take away the "wood" and leave the body kit, it might look decent!

Don't you people watch TV?

I learned 4 years ago from Pontiac that Wider is Better!

Come on people! Let's "build excitement" here and get some Better, Wider MINI's on the road!

Perhaps you can purchase the kit without the wood. If so, that would be the best body kit out yet.

In the risk of sounding really f****** dumb, no one actually thinks thats real wood do they. Its just the way people are writing here, it sounds like they think its real??

1. Car show "CUITE"

2. That great MINI Sage - Promitheus - once told a crowd of his followers" Thou Shalt Not Woodie thine MC or MCS".

Really - that's what he said - honest!!

This has got to the point where we are disagreeing with the fake wood pannel. The kit itself is what we should be looking at. I presume the owner has put this on after, along with the banana paint. If some dark silver MC/S owner put this on his/her car with out the 3 errors, (1.Surf board 2.weird Yellow paint 3.Wood) I think it wood look quite nice. spot the deliberate spelling error.

Good point BoyRacer. Since dark silver is truly the best looking color, this kit without the wood, would look especialy stunning. I am srill interested in those rear tail lights. Pics, anyone???
