OEM Alarm pricing.

I just contacted with Classic for an oem alarm price quote. The salesman say that the price would run for $350+ for stalk and the alarm system. Is this too much, how much did you get your oem alarm for? Many thanks

P.S I have a 2003 Mini Cooper (standard) w/o rain sensor.

Classic is going to have the best price on any new OEM part. Thats sounds like a good price from what I have heard (like 650 installed at dealer). The only way you can get it cheaper is to have someone sell their used one.

Agreed...

w NAM discount the alarm itself is about 236 and the wiper is another 100 so it is a good deal. Better than any other dealership will offer.

I got my alarm from Classic for ~$300. That was 2 years ago though so your price doesn't sound out of line.

I also have an 03 MC. Check the link in my sig for my pics and instructions for installing the alarm. Make sure you specify model year 03 when you order - the alarm parts have changed since then.

It cost me 395 for a full switch panel, rear fog, alarm + stalk, and floor mats. Which cost me less than having the dealer install the alarm.
