A-Spec Upper Rear Strut Bar

Well, i hate to say it, but i decided against the Pilo Strut bar after i found this one on ebay for $39.99!

I love the look of it. So far, i dont want to say it helps any, because if i did, it would be the placebo affect kicking in, i have no way to gauge if it helped any.

but, it looks cool, i'm happy, so i think i spent my money well!

here are a few pics....

Looks good!! Seems it is replacing the orginal 'anchor' that click to the back of the seat, is that right? Does it have problem holding the seat? Any squeaking noise?

I also added this mod to my Mini and then modified it. I found a cargo net that would normally fit on the back of a SUV bench seat using straps to the headrests to hold it up. The loops that would normally fit a bar included with the cargo net fit perfectly over the strut bar. I just used a couple of tie-wraps to hold the bungee cord in place and off I go.

I have the same bar and I like it. It shouldn't squeak if it is tight enough. A little soap on the original rubber covers and they can be persuaded to fit. I like the cargo net idea

i like their rear bar, has anyone purchased their front bar? looks kinda hokey, but it might be a decent upgrade for 35 bucks.
