M7 ultimate grilles installed, need help

Hi,

I just installed the M7 ultimate grilles today. They are black and I have the bottom, upper and middle grilles. My car is electric blue, and herein lies the problem I believe...

Sorry that there aren't any pics yet, but it is now pitch dark outside, but i will get some up for tomorrow.

My dilemma is that I have gone for the black grilles on a light car. The grilles are very 'meshy,' and allow alot of visibility through them. The upper grille is irritating me at the moment because I can see the electric blue slats from behind the grille itself, much like in the Orciari kit *look at the grille area in attached pic please*

As you can imagine, jet black and light EB don't mix so well and the car looks less aggresive than it did before as a result.

My question is, what would be the best way to treat this aethetic problem? Should I paint the slats (I can't cut them away because they are metal...) or just get something like the aero grilles since they are pretty opaque?

The Oricari car I have attached has a silver slat behind the grille which is good since the grille is silver as well. My grille is black and the slats are EB, so I think it look rubbish IMO.

Thanks for you help

Cheers,

Henry

slightly textured bumper paint, easy to apply, hardly any prep, tuff as nails as far as road debris goes.

we deal with this at the shop all the time...just get some 1000 git sand paper...Tape and mask everything ELSE off...then sand it...tape first to asure you don't scratch the good stuff...then...wipe it down with a wet sponge...even re tape and re mask everything....then spray it all flat black easy

Thanks for you help

I am going to do as everyone has suggested and get those 'nostrils' painted matt black . I may go with the bumper paint though for ease of use, I'll have to see.

Cheers,

Henry
