SPW seats in RED installed

I took the plunge, unfortunate as it maybe that i cannot afford the Sparcos i wanted, but i got the next best thing:

comfort? very good actually.. which was a big suprise... i rode through the rough section of what maybe Toronto's roughest road, and the comfort is very good... maybe just me but it felt more comfortable than stock seats!

fit? it was okay, my installer custom fabricated brackets for my seats, i still need to make some adjustment to the thigh height (it is too low at this point), but it fits well

i didnt get a chance to take the car onto it's limits but i guess this sunday's bmwcc autox i'd know how well they work... i took a turn slightly faster than normal and the seat held me in well, especially in the sholder area.... more unfortunate is that my tires are toast... and they HAVE to last till winter!

the new seats are defenitely lighter, not mucho grande lighter, but lighter

now for the not so good news
the seat belts, while works fine, seems to take slightly longer for the tensioner to work... it seems fine though.... just a small concern for me... i might be running the scroth full time soon to see...

airbag light came on.. strange only did it when i swapped out the driver side (we put one resistor in the passenger side too, but didnt trip the airbag light) as im going in for 40,000km service soon i'd wait a bit to get it disabled

the new seats sit lower in the car, so the rear passenger now has almost ZERO foot room, the leg room has been slightly opened up as the new seats seems thinner, also, the new seat mechanism has to have the hand reach in to grab the bar at the rear bottom of the seat.. not the most ergonomic...

once i get a chance to detail the car i'd take more shots... but i love it!

airbag light

Seats looks hot..

Would you happen to know if the front airbags are affected with the result of the seat airbags being removed and light is on? THanks
