I am sure the JCW ones are ok but beware cheap neoprene seat covers. I ordered a set for my Jeep that cost the same for all four seats and just the front pair from Wet Okole. I live in the CA desert and the centre colour on the front seats was almost white after 9 months and there were several tears at the seams. I learned that its better to spend a bit more now for quality than have to pay twice for the same thing.

I do in fact have the advanced airbag sensor in the passenger seat, and I'll be sure to do some testing when I install my seats, and post results of the WOs.

I'm fairly certain the WO's will pass, because they are custom measured and tailored specifically to match our seats. It would be like wearing a jacket or extra layer of clothing to the sensor. But generic seat covers may squeeze on the sensors, causing false readings... as well as affect airbag deployment.

I believe the sensor is off at 5-60lbs, so I'll load up a box with some goodies, weigh em, and test it out.

Do not underestimate the power of crappily woven seat-covers, my young padawan.

By the way, for what it's worth, I've ridden in a MINI with WO seat covers. They are absolutely amazing!! You'll understand why they cost so much once you see and feel them!

And here's a pic courtesy of mmatarella (his MINI):

They have a special on right now - $225 for the front set, $249 for the rear. I asked them, and they are unable to put any MINI logo on the covers.

Other neoprene vendor

There's another site that does custom 100% CR neoprene seat covers as well. They are about $40 cheaper than WO for the front seats. Just another option....http://www.autoenhance.com/neoprenetf.html

I'm thinking of the red hibiscus. My airbag sensor seems to be a bit wacky anyway. I keep my kids in the back seat just to be sure.

Here are some SWEET seat covers. They cost more than a 19% pulley, belt, and install. Oh, and lets say an exhause too. Your pick. Green seats, or pulley and exhaust.
