from an '88 Deville. Painted a few shades darker than body color.

 

That looks pretty cool. Unique. Was it hard to do?

 

Hacksaw to shape, dremel sanding drum to fit, sandblast to remove chrome & etch plastic, then paint. To secure the grille I used the clips holding on the original mesh mat. Not at all difficult, just time consuming. Finished on our 1st 100 degree day here.

 

That looks great. I hate the stock plastic lower grill. It cheapens the look of the whole front.

 

I'm thinking of making mine into a couple of flyswatters.

 

What's going on with your front tag there?

 

Thats the only place shy of taping it on the sunvisor that doesn't block air to the radiator. The poormans spoiler look is so I can enter/exit driveways.
