Did any of you dare to install these yourselves?

I've got a silver union jack for the sunroof on the way, but no installer close by....

Check out issue one of MC2 They did a very detailed write up on sunroof graphics, as well as Minvader has a how to floating around the internet somewhere.

No I didn't attempt to do it by myself. Watching the guys that installed mine it looked fairly easy but was a two man job - and I am sure they made it look easy as they have done so many. The write up in MC2 mag on applying decals is great and if you are handy with things like this then I don't see why you couldn't do it with a friend.

here are some of mine. The top pic is where it stands now, the bottom pic is the first try at the graphic. There was a manufacturer issue with the layers and it came apart, so I got it replaced, and changed it around....to what you see in the top pic, which was a much better color match to my IB/W than the first attempt.

I did the second install myself. Watched the install on the first one, not that hard. It has been on for 2.5 years now, no issues, still looks like new, although, the car is always garaged, even at work, and it only goes out in fair weather.

Here is my custom Cooper Flag. It is the Rampant Lion of Scotland. CF did the color in Electric Blue to match my Mini. It is perforated, and is possibly my favorite mod to the car.

We wanted a skull&crossbones but didn't want it to be too serious, we found this skull&crossbones on a halloween bag and had it blown up.

Now I just need to meet up with Red 5!!!
That is such a great graphic

Roof Decals/Graphics

Hello all
Hope it's ok to post this...

I'm currently in the middle of doing an article for Modern MINI magazine on roof graphics.
I've been lookng through some of your galleries, and there's some amazing decals in there!

I was wondering if any of you would be interested in submitting your graphic for the feature?

A few that I've seen that I'd be interested in are:

There's tons more but I'd be here all day!

If any of you would like to submit either the above graphics, or anything else you think I might be interested in, can you drop me and email to:

nicci@eastcoastminiclub.co.uk

(Admin, I hope this is ok to post this here, any problems just let me know)

Cheers,

Nicci

Hello There

A while back on Mini2 I saw a Mini with a balck roof and three scrape marks on the roof

It was a decal that looked like a dinosaur ripped its claws through the roof of the car - looked awesome

Anyone seen this on a car and know of a place a can get this graphic from?

Thanks

Anthony

Minimeto's new hat

Just installed my custom graphic by Cooper Flags. It is the Pop Art painting BLAM by Roy Lictchenstein (1969). Brings out the squadron leader daydream that flying a MINI can evoke for me.

Done by AC this past weekend. Its a US flag with all the names of those that perished on 9-11.

Spoiler of the flag in the wind.
