Minvader...that looks fantastic!
Minigolf...of your 4 options, I prefer the twisty road sign. The issue I have with the roo sign and the RAAF roundel are that they are directional. It's the reason I didn'y go with an Aussie flag for my roof. It only looks right if you are standing on the correct side of the car. The RAF roundel avoids that issue, but do you really want people to think you're a Pom?

I'm glad I brought this thread back to the top, some cool new roof art being posted! I like all of the new ones posted today, and I hope to see Homer in a real photo soon!

I agree - I'm glad it's come back up to the top. ...We 'roofies' are a special breed amoung Mini fanatics, and it's a good thing to celebrate the creative energy one puts into a special lid!!

Gee, I suddenly feel rather boring. I simply covered my sun roof panels with solid white to match the white roof. At least it's cooler inside now.
Anybody in the St. Pete area should check out the Fast Signs shop on 33rd Ave N - very reasonable and easy to work with.

This is one of the best graphics I've seen. . .except for the checkered flag and Union Jack--but they are so common. . awesome!!!

Thanks!

The pin up is an original piece of art by Earl MacPherson who gained notieriety for his pin up art in the 30's & 40"s. You can see his sig on the wing.
My whole concept was to pay homage to that era of pin up and WWII Aircraft Nose art which was in turn inspired by the pin up artists like Earl Macpherson. I also thought the theme could incorporate aspects of the new MINI as an automobile designed by an American, engineered by British & German engineers, and an homage to the original British Mini and its passenger/racing heritage.
AesthetiCreations modified the color of the girls' outfit to match my CR/B MCS, added the rivets, flags, and the Hot Wings tag line. It turned out great and I am thankful that Mike at AC put up with the literal months of trading emails and phone calls working on the adaptation and design of the art into roof art for a MINI Cooper S. I am very happy with it as it is unique and further enhances the look of my MINI. If anyone is going to the Dragon stop by Mike's AC tent and tell him how much you liked his work.
I have one more major thing to add to my MCS to complete the theme and will be talking to Mike of AC later this spring about that.
