DD's Unofficial Euro Parcel Shelf Liner Template

There are some folks out there, including myself, who have purchased a Euro Parcel Shelf WITHOUT the liner. Frankly, the additional $30 for a piece of rubber seemed steep.

If you are cheap like me, but would like to keep your stuff from sliding off of the shelf, look no further. I've created a template for creating your own Euro Parcel Shelf Liner. Accuracy not guaranteed, but you can't beat the price — FREE.

INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1) Download the template pdf:
11x17 is recommended, but there is an 8.5x11 version as well. Note: some splicing is needed for the 8.5x11 version.

Step 2) Print pdf on your favorite printer. Note: make sure you print these out at 100%, with all page scaling turned OFF.

Step 3) Cut out the template.

Step 4) Place template on your favorite rubber surface. Some folks use the heavy duty, kitchen drawer liner.

Also, some computer stores carry those giant mouse pads that are perfect if you flip them over.

Step 5) Carefully cut your rubber surface around the template. For best results, use a utility knife, a straight edge and a cutting surface.
WARNING: do not attempt this on your MINI's seating area.

Step 6) Place liner on your Euro Parcel Shelf.

Step 7) Place items on your new liner.

Step 8) Take your MINI for a spin with some hard turns to test out stick-effect of your new liner.

Step 9) Enjoy

When I try to print it I don't get the outline. Is it me?

When I print, it's fine. But that may just be me.
