Interior/Exterior Plastic clip for windshield?
Plastic clip for windshield?
Volvo and Saab both have little plastic clips that are installed (in some models) in the driver's side pillar near the dash, making it easy to display parking passes, event tickets, etc. against the windshield, rather than merely resting them on the dash.
I have not been able to locate these little items for any other vehicles. Does anyone have any ideas? I think it's the only thing our MINI is missing...
If you happen to enjoy driving with the sunroof open and the windows down, anything you leave resting on the dash is quickly gone.

And... of course... given our babies' shabby windshield records, do we REALLY want to be pushing pieces of adhesive to it from the inside several times a day???
Has anyone even seen the clip I'm trying to describe? I've actually touched it, so I know it exists.
I don't have actual dyno numbers to share, but -- dangitall -- it sure makes things seem "better" when you've got one of them-thar clips on the windshield.
My '95 Volvo 960 has it, but I've never really used it. However, my son, who now drives it, puts his high school parking permit there, so it does have a use.
No, I've never seen it available via third party.
