Who makes best aftermarket leather kit?

I have a new MCS on order with the black leatherette interior and am interested in replacing the seating surfaces with colored leather or suede like inserts. Anybody know the best aftermarket kits to do this? Thanks.

Hay welcome to NAM. You might want to try Katskin I think they might have a kit for the MINI. Good luck.

Leather seats

I was after the same thing, and got a quote for $599 from Katskin.

I also got a quote from Italian dealer for 1500 Euros ($1900) and from another dealer for (same item!) 2500 Euros ($3200). I am mentioning this for reference, as there are some US dealer who may order these to have them installed.

I will be shipping my MCS back to the states in a few weeks, and I hope to get something installed there.

In the meantime, I am looking to order WetOkoles seat covers. They seem to be of the highest quality and fit.

try classic soft trim. they did my car. ypu pick the colors , style, inserts , trim i even had mini logos put in the seatbacks. they come to you , pull the seats and return the next day or two and reinstall the seats. they did great job

the inserts are perforated leather(hard to see from this picture) check em out on the web, hope this helps

i am in the car business so i paid a lot less than general public( would pee some people off if i told you ), however i would guess you could get it done for around $1000 plus tax. i think the local mini dealer tries to get $1500 for it, contact cst direct for a number. pm me :if you need me to call the rep in my area to get you an exact price that it can be done for. btw thanks for the compliment that picture dos'nt do it full justice, cheers jon
