Recently, I purchased a Mini roof rack for extra cargo capacity. The templates that come with the kit are nice and specific, as far as detail, on where a positive point of reference on where to place the template. The drilling installation on the rears went very well.

The problem in the front templates - they give no starting reference point. I could be off and miss the factory screw ports inside (which obviously wouldn't be good at all).

Does anyone out ther have some advice on this situation? Maybe giving me a distance from the center of the frontmost rear pin to the rearmost front pin - as I know each pair is about 3.5" apart (center to center). Some coordinates please?

 

At work right now, but I'll measure tonight and post if someone hasn't beaten me to it! I'll also do a little internet searching of my own.
