Different part. P/N 51 13 0 140 259. Call Herb at Sterling (888-954-8222), or go see him in parts since it looks like you are in VA. I just bought it mail order for $43.56, but I don't know if it's different at the counter.

Can I jump up on a soapbox for just a minute? Thanks.

A connection with a parts person who knows what they're about can be worth it's weight in gold. A really good parts person can clue you in to retrofits and crossfits (fitments that are designed for other cars but will work for yours), let you know when there are kits that include all the bits you need rather than you having to $pend unnecessary fund$ for pieceworking something together, and keep you in mind for takeoff parts that can be had for pennies on the dollar.

Parts people don't get the credit they deserve often, and I suspect that's the reason why few of them really put forth the effort to become really good parts people.

So here's a hats-off to the good parts people out there in the world! Cherish them, thank them, bring them donuts or beer (in keeping with their preferences).

No, I'm not a parts guy, but I've known probably more than my fair share of good ones and they've made my vehicular life a whole lot easier.

i agree totally as i am a parts guy....35 years worth i hope i was as you have described to my customers over the years(porsche, audi,vw,nissan, infiniti) i have been a long time believer to treat my customers as i wanted to be treated and know something about what they need not to just stand there and shake your head talk to them and be an enthusiast about them and their car....be able to talk to them not talk down to them i think if you do that you will have a good relationship.....1 more thing as a parts guy have a tech that you are really in good with and you will even have more knowledge to share .........to have a personality........ not just yes and no will go a long way....
phew --- just an old parts guy's .02
