Last night, I drove by 05 MCS. We waved, and I noticed, his lights light up the road better then my light. His was equiped with projector hid, and it looked like it was brighter w/ a better beam pattern then my car.
I have 03 MCS w/ reflector hid (self-leveling, washer and all good stuffs). 05 models has sharp looking projector HID headlights, and I was wondering if it is possible to retrofit 05 projector into my 03. Has anyone tried this?

I did a search, and a lot of people were trying to go from non-hid to hid, not reflector hid to projector hid.

I guess I didn't search enough. Thanks. So it's very possible. I gotta save up now. So many things to buy. No money!

 

Well its one way to go about it. I for a while (I still have the lights) bought and used a HID retrofit kit from www.xenondepot.com. Works pretty good...but has its draw backs. Some light scatter (i.e. Theres no projectors so the light doesn't project straight forward)and in a MINI the wiring in my kit was a bit short. I posted them on Ebay to get some extra cash. I'd post the link but I'm @ work and Ebay is blocked (and thank God NAM isn't). If they don't sell they will become by high beams in my new car.
