i used 3m double sided tape. it works awesome just prep the area with some cleaner to get all the grime and wax off of it. i also realized that the black plastic frame that i had for the plate did not adhear well. i just bent the plate a bit and put double sided 3m tape. it is sturdy as hell and its been on for 4 months now.
Attached a euro plate to my Cooper using double sided tape as well. Granted, the Cooper has a 'spot' for the Euro plate, but I assume it'd work on the MCS just as well. I didn't totally clean the spot and used basic 3M mounting tape (like kind for walls and such) the first time and the edges of the plate kept popping up. Second time around I got double sided tape from an auto parts store and cleaned the area really well....that sucker never moved!
The MCS's bumper is curved and doesn't really have a place for a plate. Unless your plate is curved I don't think double sided tape would be a good idea.
I used the holes that were there from my North American plate. The screws are the self tapping type and hold it tight.

I had the same delimma so Iwent to walmart bought dry wal screws the kind with the teeth on the nut , drilled the holes screwed in the screws you know the kind that expand and have the little pointed palstic tip screwed em in and a year later they are good as new. I did check it for about 4 months every time I stopped being dry wall screws but to my delight the worked perfect.
Cost about $3.00
and a lota nerve to drill my coop.
photos if you want just pm me.

If your state doesn't require a front plate than the Euro plate is probably legal...
If your state does require a front plate, then the Euro plate is probably ILLEGAL. Install at your own risk...
That being said many people have Euro plates on their cars in states where they are required and have never been hassled...

I have an MCS with a euro plate bracket. I actually used nylon zip ties and looped it through some spaces in the bumper grill space. It holds just fine. You can look at my pics section of my website to see it.
It is currently off of the car since I am have the new aero bumper painted. I will happily take pics of the process if you like?
It works well since the euro mounting has a lot of holes and places for the zip ties to work around and I made sure not to pull them tight allowing the plate to stay flat on the curved surface.
