If you take off your stock shifter, you'll see there's a notch in the top of the rod. The Whalen is fitted to this notch so if you can replicate the notch after you remove the top, then yes, otherwise I'd have to say no you can't. While it may go on, it will twist from the torsion forces as you work the shift lever.

Here's a thought.
I've never heard of anyone doing it, but it might be feasible to thread the remaining part of your shift lever and install the screw-on adapter from Alta that will accept a stock **** (or my ****).
I can't remember for sure, but I'm thinking the Alta lever is threaded 12 mm.
If so, the stock shift lever is the correct diameter, and can easily be threaded that size.
You'll need a threading die and handle; and a steady hand, so the threads are cut straight.
