Anyone have any real information on the MINI PDA interface (availibility, functionality)?

Yup, there is a CGS system available for about 2 bills total, including software and mounting hardware, I'm definitely going to check that out. My iPAQ has also been chillin on my desk for a few months, last use... Tetris. Can't wait to get GPS, that way I don't have to worry about getting the wrong directions. Plus I think that it links directly to the stereo via an AUX input jack so the audio goes right through the sound system. Great alternative to the all-too-expensive NAV system. Do a search, there a few threads out there.

Can somebody supply some more details about the PDA interface? My Handspring with a GPS module would be as good as the Nav system and WAY cheaper!

The most information I have seen thus far is at the MINI International Website. Once there, go under the MINI menu and select "MINI PDA".

It won't answer detailed questions, but for those just hearing about this, it is a good place to start.

That's so cool! I wish my Handspring would work with the system, but it looks like the IPAQ and the MINI PDA are the only one's supported at first. Maybe they'll have a retrofit so I don't have to buy a new PDA.

Cool system though...I can't wait 'til they launch it here!
