Hello!

I've had my Cooper for a while now, and I've finally decided to try to switch my Cooper's plain gas door for the chrome Cooper S style. Unfortunately, it seems like all the instructions that I saw about a year ago on these forums are all gone. I read one last year that had great detailed instructions with pictures for each step, and I can't find it anywhere. I searched the forums, and I found a link to a page from mferguson, but when I click on it, I get an error page that says "Not Found". What happened? And I could only find the kit at one website-RSpeed doesn't even sell it anymore. Help?

 

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. ALL the install writeups online are either AWOL or missing the pics. Please, someone post a link to a working writeup on this.

 

Well, I couldn't wait for the existing writeups to get fixed.
All it took was me telling myself "self, you can do it... I think. Get your behind back out in that garage and do it.".
