Hello all,

I am looking for a "bull bar" or other push bar/brush bar for my MCS. I can't find anything anywhere. Anyone know where I can find one?

I think moss used to have something like that but they discontinuted it.

It was way too expensive anyway like 600 some dollars.

Not sure why anyone would want these on a Mini

What exactly do they do??

 

Having my MCS hit twice this month by someone who can't park, I would think this is a good mod for me. I also like the look. I also installed 8" tow hooks front and rear as a defensive parking move.

Your best is probably E-bay or used, the demand for these wasn't very large so most companies do not carry them.

 

Moss Mini used to sell these as "bull bars", but the part number I got out of an old catalog doesn't work on their website. You could try them and see if they still have any.

I think they look kind of bad ***. I wanted a set powder coated black to match my roof/mirrors and evetunaly strips and wheels.

But yeah they are impossible to find now. If anyone does have them or finds them could you take the measurments of them and post them.

I think any decent machine shop could build them with the right specifications.

 

Thats what I am thinking now. I was hoping that I could get a set of the Moss bull bars.If you do make your own let me see the finished set.

 

The Moss Mini bull bars don't fit the Cooper particularly well. They were evidently made for the S or perhaps a European variant. I fitted mine passably with some trouble and they were good for a year or so. Now they are definitely rusting. Not particularly wonderful and yes they were ~$300 new. Now I am contemplating removing them.
