The trim is “riveted” on the door panels. The pieces have plastic posts which go through holes in the door panels, then the ends of the posts are melted and mushroomed over to secure them. All of the posts I’ve seen end with glueing or siliconingthe trim back on.
Not sure how secure or messy that would be so I’m going to try and remove the mushroom head, then drill a small hole in the post and use truss head screws to re-install the trim.

Rather than "riveted", the correct terminology would be "heat staked". Nonetheless, same removal method would need to be used to remove those trim pieces. My own driver card/panel had an impression dent which otherwise detracted from as-new condition, so I spent significant $$ for a new OEM replacement. Doing that included the correct trim pieces within P/N per VIN (Anthracite in my case), however does not include the speaker grille which differs in P/N whether standard audio as mine or optional H/K with that grilled subsequently needing to be purchased and installed in the new panel. Pics below show backside of card/panel with heat-staked spots on the old and through holes on the replacement where the grille installs. BTW, my original card/panel remains available in NAM classifieds for anyone looking.
