Firewall plastic removal

My firewall plastic has broken has anyone removed it and has pictures .

I first cut mine, then removed it completely.
It's been a while, but if I remember it wasn't difficult, just time consuming (if the engine is in, I did mine with the engine out.)

If it's not a total loss, I'd try Plastic Epoxy (weld) first. If I remember correctly, the drivers side is tight, and P/S reservoir and coolant reservoir have to be disconnected + CAI removed.

It might not too bad depending on where it’s cracked as it’s three separate pieces. You can see the breakdown of the pieces and fasteners here:

I think it only took about 20 minutes to replace the drivers side when replacing with the JCW airbox panel.

No, it's out permanently for clearance.

​​​​​​My setup requires the room for the exhaust manifold turbo and down pipe.

It is absolutely needed for creature comfort in the car, I get inside windshield fogging when the car isn't ruining, and more engine compartment smells when idling. It being there and sealing properly to the bonnet, is a vital part for fresh air in the cabin.
