Parking Distance Sensor
Does anyone know if the Parking Distance Sensor is retrofittable?
I have a 2004 MC, and am tooying with the idea...not sure why, I haven't had trouble parking the MINI, but am a bit worried about my nice wheels kissing the curb.

Not sure that will work for you? Even if the PDC covered out to the sides I haven't come across one that will detect something as low as a parking curb.

PDC is the only option that I got that I would not get again.

If you do any parallel parking or need to back into tight spaces, this option is a great help. My first car with it and I find it incredibly useful.

Agreed, it's not that you need it, but it does make those situations just slightly easier and more efficient. I give it a thumbs up.
