Hi everyone! Wanted to take a moment to introduce ourselves and the OEM+ steering wheels that we want to now bring to the MINI community.

We are a small but passionate team of three (Tomasz, Angelos, Michal) based in Poland and Canada who are first and foremost car and driving enthusiasts and have enjoyed crafting beautiful and functional OEM+ steering wheels and other sports car styling upgrades for customers around the world since 2014. We have crafted hundreds of bespoke steering wheels for Mazda MX-5 and RX-7/8, Honda S2000, Fiat 124 along with other interesting customer cars from other marques like Lexus, Genesis, and Alfa Romeo.

We are *forever* MINI fans... I've owned a couple of them... an R56 JustaCooper (fitted with JCW suspension and really sticky tires) and an R53 JCW (fitted with everything straight from factory). And boy do I miss that JCW... it was a 2006 Competition Edition and just so nicely set up especially the SC whine! Another JCW is inevitable and already in "planning stage" (F56 or maybe even F57 this time)...

We are very excited to be able to offer our OEM+ steering wheels to the MINI community.

• EXPERT INNOVATION. Our Corsa model line is smaller diameter than factory for more sporting turn-in feel and legroom and offers a *true D* flat bottom. We even offer Corsa-zero which adds a flat top for an exotic driving feel!
• QUALITY. All of our steering wheels are expertly hand-crafted at our own workshop just outside Krakow, Poland, EU using only automotive-grade leathers/Alcantara and stitching.

You have some nice wheel there; question, do you offer "thicker" steering wheels or are these wheels the same thickness as the F56 "JCW Steering Wheel and MINI Yours Steering wheel" (I was hoping to get something thicker than the JCW steering wheel in my MINI).

2nd, I notice on your ordering page that you ask if the steering wheel is carrying paddle sifters. I'm guessing that your steering wheels will come with the paddle snifters (for automatics), unless the paddles are something we swap. If you are including the paddles are these the same OEM Shape/Style/Size/Material that you are using for the paddles? As I dont see any pictures of them.
Your post says "all MINI Gens" to confirm, that means the F56 also yes? As I only see the F54 on your ordering page.

Thank you for your questions.
According to our measurements OEM Rxx wheel has following dimensions:
- diameter 368mm (14,5")
- grip circumference (measured at 12 o'clock position) 107mm (4,2")
- grip 30/34mm (width/depth) 1,2/1,3" - it's more like a circle

In comparison to this our Corsa has following dimensions:
- diameter 355mm (14")
- grip circumference 110mm (4,3") - this can be extended even up to 120mm (4,7") and 360mm diameter, which is considered a lot (typically for BIG hands)
- grip 30/40mm 1,2/1,6" - typical ergonomic oval grip used in motorsport (Momo Monte Carlo and Personal Grinta are build same way)

If possible please share with us and community F56 JCW measurements for comparison purposes.
Regarding shift paddles - they are not included in the price as most of "donor" come to us without them.
Last one is pricing of F56 vs. F54 - it's the same. Just put in the remarks specific comment about your model.

I need the OEM works steering wheel size+thickness with carbon+yellow stripe as it is but with alcantara leather on the sides not with that "napa leather" or whatever it is...

Flat bottom, punched sides and flattened top with matching time attack stripe

 

Some inspiration... a full Alcantara (Charcoal Alcantara) Corsa model wheel we did recently for a 30AE MX5 customer!

Notice a Porsche-inspired detail on this one (also Pagani-inspired)... the single center seam at 6 o clock, something we can do on the full-Alcantara or full-single leather wheels (either full-smooth leather or full-perforated leather). This detail makes for a very, very clean design.

This wheel also shows off our Lambo Orange stitch colour and matching time attack stripe and the stitch pattern is the "Motorsports" (XXXX pattern).

N'joy the view and its details

Smaller diameter, completly reshaped and recovered with BMW M tri-color signature stitch.

 

I can vouch for this company. Had their wheel on my 04 mx5 and it was fantastic. Well worth the money, it transformed the the interior and felt fantastic.

 

Can you match the factory MINI Redwood Lounge-Leather color ?

Thanks for the props, agv! Side note - amazing how much cross-over there is between MX-5 enthusiasts and MINI enthusiasts (and I am no different, having owned both and once again checking out MINI JCW's for a clean example)

 

Incidentally - that stunning BMW Corsa wheel is going into one of our GD "shop cars"... the BMW e82 135i M-sport. As you can already see from photos we posted above, such a step up from the factory M-sport wheel.
