Help replacing square nut/bolt set for OEM r56 roofrack

There are 8 bolts that hold the OEM roof rails to the mounts on my R56. 4 of them are gone cause they fell out - I guess the dealership didn't tighten them all that much? Turns out they don't stock them and they are very hard to find. Any pointers? All the square nuts I find have a 7/16" diameter, and this calls for around 1/4" or 9 mm. The bolts are also very short. The rack is squeaking like crazy - I need help!

You can search here for part numbers realoem.com hopefully they have them shown.

or you could check mcmaster-carr.com which has an amazing amount of fasteners, etc. Saved me many times on connectors, etc.

Thanks a lot for the quick response - that's a great resource, that website.

Unfortunately.... this part didn't even make it onto the schematic, lol. Not sure how they expect it to be held together.

The shank on this is only about 1/4" or 9 mm wide. All the 3/4 wide nuts take a 7/16" bolt which seems far too wide to fit the holes provided. I'm going to have to drill new holes and go all the way through the bar.
