JCW Body Kit - Carbon Fiber

Odds are you've seen the carbon fiber JCW body kit on eBay/Alibaba. It is priced out there in the stratosphere. I have been talking with the factory that makes that and have been getting some information on commercial pricing and such.

I know we can't orchestrate group buys or anything (as normal non-vendor users) but I was just curious how many people might be interested in such a thing, assuming we could get the cost under $2000 (shipped to your door).

This is strictly a feeler and no offer of sale or transaction whatsoever.

I'd be interested in one for the F60, but for that price, I'd want the wheel arches in CF as well. They seem out of place to me.

Just wrap the stuff in CF vinyl. Way cheaper and you won't cry as much if it gets damaged. The only issue is can vinyl wrap handle being that close to the exhasut tips

It's not as bad as everyone says. Been doing business there for a long time. The horrid quality typically comes from mass-produced items trying to beat rock-bottom pricing. Going into it working with bespoke factories on small runs is a much safer and better way to go. You also build in QA clauses into your purchase agreements.

This is on-par with OEM pricing for the Aero kit (if you don't have it, to begin with). It's also lighter (there are weight-***** among us). If I just wanted it for the "look" then vinyl is fine but I'm not going to spend the same money on a fake solution when I could have the real one.
