They are covers as the actual chrome plated plastic rings are complex shapes and cannot be made from CF at a reasonable price (I piad about a hundred bucks I think.) The covers require considerable work to make them look good and don't come with any adhesive...sort of hokey, but with patience they do actually work.

I was hot to get some CF eadlight rings until i saw them in person. Now I'm thinking of doing vynal wrap or even repaint to body color.
