Adding paddle shifters to Mini Cooper R52

Hi guys👍 😆
After all, I've finally registered my self an account in northamericanmotoring. I'm having a trouble in adding paddle shifters into Mini Cooper R52.
The problem i'm having right now is the wiring. It's show that through ISTA+ , the "-" and "+" of SD mode is Grey White and Grey Blue. But right after I'm putting the 12v in, the gearbox show off some problems. So is there any chance that i can DIY the paddle shifters without CANbus :( ( i'm thinking about making myself an Transmitter and Receiver for Paddle Shifters )
Thank you guys

I want to see how it works when done. My guess is that it will be the same speed as if you clicked the shift in M version?
