I read the DIY on putting r56 seats in a 2004 without heat. However I have a 2006 with heated seats and of course that nothing but fun passenger occupancy sensor. Anyone know if they are a simple plug swap or if more is needed for install?

Thanks!

Moving you to the Interior/Exterior Mod area. I was thinking there is thread here where the guy spliced the R53 harness onto the R56 seats.

I'd like to know as well. I feel like R56 seats are easier to find.

From what I have read it is easy enough. You just need to decide which way to go attaching the seats to your cars electronics.

Mod the R53 wiring so the seats plug in, mod the R56 seat so they plug into the R53 wiring, or make an adapter from R53 seat plugs and R56 car plugs.

Google for r56 seats in R53 and start reading.

I did a search but only found a DIY for a 2004 non heated, no occupancy sensor set.
