I don't believe so. They changed the linkage a bit for '04 so the same kit won't work. There are a few other companies making SS kits that have different models for the different model years.

I have an 03 MCS with a short shifter like the Pilo/B&M SS kit and I prefer the Helix13 Short shift kit (available now -only $45) and one part will fit 04 while another part fits earlier models. The Helix13 kit doesn't change the height of the ****, only reduces the throw by about 35% for a very positive shift. Stock shift ***** are fine.

that piece is all there is to it. The stock shaft/**** are used.

 

there was someone here who says this is the same as the megan ss kit on ebay for 30 bucks.... i'd love to hear minipilo's response

it works great btw, its too bad it doesn't work for an 04, you might want to find minpilo and ask him.....

 

The helix is added to the bottom of the shifter, and therefore shortens the throw, but does not shorten the shaft itself. I have the Pilo SSK, and like it. I'd email Pilo and find out if they have one for the 04.
