Question How to secure window vents

I have front and rear Weathertech window vents, and having recently lost one of the rear ones (they just slide up and in), I am curious if anyone has an idea on how to better secure them in the channel.

They have a tiny bit of double stick tape stuff, but doesnt seem to really catch and hold.
Would there be any additional type of tape, super glue, or adhesive that I could use to secure it in the window?

Obviously would need to be completely removed later if needed, but it needs to be secured while I own the car.

Thanks!

Use some thicker/better quality two sided tape.

mikey_t is right. At my NAPA store, they sell the 3M double stick tape and they have it in a couple of different thickness. I wouldn't have super glue anywhere near that.

Going to go look at the 3M tape this weekend. My main concern was the thickness as I don't want to stop the windows on their way up!
