Rattling Sound from Top-Rear-Right corner

There is a sound from back of the car, cold weathers or when passing on bump.
Is it about sunroof or what is it?

I think I have that too and I haven't been able to figure it out. Driving me nuts.

Either of you come to a conclusion on this? I have a 15 countryman with the same rattle over bumps and such!

I just swapped out my rear sway bar bushings for new ones because of a rattle at the rear of the car. Tough time finding where it was coming from until i crawled underneath and grabbed a hold of the sway bar and it moved in my hands.

Thanks Mikey, but this sound definitely seems to be inside the vehicle! Nothing major..just an annoyance when you pay big money for one of these cars..for now the volume button solves the issue!

Did you check the seatbelt retraction gizmo?

Mine actually sounded like it was something rattling behind the rear seats and in the storage compartment but i emptied everything out and no change. I did find that if i bounced the rear of the car up and down from one side or the other it would make a rattle/clunk noise so that's what lead me to crawl underneath.

Also, i used to have a 'rattle' that i found to be the rear seat belts banging against the inside trim beside the seat.

Did any of you find something with your sunroof?

My 2016 has a rattle over bumps around 32 degrees... (mostly) goes away when it's warmer and also goes away when a passenger pushes up on the rear glass section.

It is probably the sunroof sunscreen. Pull it about 2" from fully open (both front and back screen) and see if that fixes the problem.....did for me.

I think I got it… took the rear sunroof glass out and found that the piece of foam between the glass and frame was gone in one corner.

I added more foam. snugged down the screws on the hinge, and put it back together 👍
