Are you talking about these:

Should be plug n play but they're not HID but LED.

yes and the headlights are projector halogens, H9 bulb type. Not HID.

You need the Bi-Xenon Headlight 25W set. That's the retrofit HID kit from Mini or fabricate your own.

But you'll need to get your car coded to run HID otherwise it won't work.

only if you upgrade to the 25W set which are true bi-xenon HID will you have to get your car coded to run those. Those other ones I posted are plug-n-play.

+1 there are two main options.

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...r-r60-r62.html

Halogen => Bi-Xenon factory retrofit

And the new Sonars in black or chrome.

Halogen => Bi-Halogen projector with LED DRL ring on the outside. They take H9 stock bulb and have a flap on the inside that moves for the high and low beam. Some people take xenon retrofit H9 kits and use them in these. We dont carry those retrofit xenon kits for stock H9 bulbs. And that way they convert them to xenon.

Thats to two main options.
