Hi all.
SO my 2010 MCS has the automatic climate control. It never seems to blow at me through the "face" vents. The other day was the first time it was actually hot in my car. I had it set to "Auto" and it only blew cold on my feet and up on the "defrost" vents. I pressed the [Face] button and it switched to face, then about a minuet later it switched to blowing at the feet & defrost and not at face.

I made an appointment to take it in today (3/6) to get that fixed under my 30-day warranty (bought it used, 52K miles).

On the way to work, all of the vent changes worked manually when i switched them. I did it a bunch of times and it all seems fine now. I am debating to take it in for fear they can't reproduce the issue.

Do these controls get intermittent after a while or before they fail?

It seems that after cycling through all of the combinations many times they have become unstuck and work perfectly now.

Odd, but welcomed. I think the first owner may not have used the A/C much.

 

Grrr. After them working for days without issue, I opened my mouth and they failed this morning on the way to work. I cycled them a bunch of times and they work correctly. I think I just need to take it in.

So no one has had this issue?

 

So I took it in under warranty...they are replacing the controller.
