To drill or not to drill?

I just got a german plate for the front of my mini s from family in germany. But im not sure how I want to place it on my front bumper. Im not sure if I want to drill into the bumper or create a mout of some sort. Hmmm

Drill holes and the holes are still there if you later decide you want them gone. Here's a link to a vendor that can help you out with a no hole mount.

I always use 3M VHB sticky foam strips to attach my number plates.
I never drill holes into my vehicles.
The 3M VHB sticky foam strips have very strong adhesive on them.

Yeah i was considering that but i dont want it to fall off and im not surr how well they will be in yhe cold winter of michigan.

Hmm, fair point.
I doesn't get that cold, thankfully, here in the UK.
Would it be useful to check on the 3M website to find out what environmental
conditions the VHB tape is suitable for.

Yeah ill look into it a little more. I was thinking about using Neodymium Magnets. Thought about apoxying some to the back of the plate brqcked and then placing the other magneta on the back side of the bumper. My thought process was that by using neo magnets and the bumper plastic being so thin that it would work just fine. But im not sure yet ha. Also i cannot wait to visit the UK!
