We are about to launch our new site, but I thought I'd give you all a chance to preview of some of our designs. The official site will be up next week, but for now our designs can be viewed here.

All of our designs work with or without a sunroof and come with a limited 3M warranty. Any design feedback would be appreciated. If you have questions please ask.

I know I am among the few, but will you ever consider doing a "VELVET RED" union jack - or any other velvet red matching emblems?

I have not thought about doing the UJ in velvet red. What color cooper do you want to have this on. My thoughts run to some interesting color combinations.

 

I'll have my EB/W S in about a week and am thinking about gaphics. Not sure this is the best color for add on graphics but it's what I ordered. I really liked #1 and #8 not sure what's going on with the roof on #7. With #1, I think it would look better if you worried less about getting all the stars on there and more about the extra unadorned blue area. With my EB MCS I'm not sure how the dark blue center hood strip would look.

 

Hey badsmini, I'm not eager to cover up my nice white roof, but I love the bonnet stripes on Concept 9. If you had a set of these for the MCS that carried over onto the boot, I would be interested.

 

SoopaCoopa - All of the Bonnet stripes come with a corresponding Boot stripe. If you wanted to get an extra strip to go over the roof we could provide that too. The Boot/Bonnet kit is $99.00. I would need to know if you had a sunroof to price out the stripe over the roof.

 

I'll be ordering an all black S. What designs might you have available for those of us with black roofs? All the examples shown were mainly on white roofs. Maybe a silver or grey union jack would look good with all black. I'm looking for something a little more conservative on my all Black S. I believe you will sell alot of your new designs they look great. How about shadow stripes? What will the average cost be? (Roof, Bonnet & Rear)

Velvet Red/Grey UJ on a Velvet Red Mini, of course! :smile:

Velvet red and Grey Union Jack would look sweet.
The normal UJ just wouldn't look right.

 

Hey BadSMini, they look great! I wish my Silver and White UJ went to the edges of the roof like you show on yours. When mine were off I'll definitely look you up to replace what I have today.

Like CarVogue you will have the perforated top for the sun roof’s? I love the way you did the bonnet stripes. They look awesome.

My bonnet stripes are taking a hit from the snow, ice and stuff they place on the road. The flag is doing great. I hope you are in business a long time.

Again great ideas! I like the flag ripping apart from the speed of the too.

I love the look of the bonnet strip. I know my factory stripes won’t last long. I have a DS/B MCS. I think your stripes in black would look perfect. Could you show a picture from front and back of car with your bonnet and boot stripes?

Thanks for all the encouraging words - I'll try and answer everyone's questions in a single post. All of our products are 3M and come with a limited warrenty. We will provide installation instructions for the do-it-youself MINI guy or girl. We will also send along a list of 3M vendors in your local area if you want to leave the job up to someone else.

mininc - We will have pictures of our boot designs when the full site is up. Sorry that I don't have anything to show at this time. The complete boot/bonnet kit will run $99.00

gobsmacked - Our sunroof designs will have the perforations for the front and rear portions of the sunroof. All our designs are on 3M Scotchguard and come with a limited warrenty. There is no danger of adding them over the sunroof. The "ripper" design is my personal favorite. The cool thing about that design is we can overlay it on top of any of our designs. We will have a few other designs like this in the upcoming months. We will also have the Silver/White/Black UJ and US flags VERY SOON. We hope to be in business a long time too - I've got to support this MINI habit somehow!!!!!!

gross67 - I'll do some color mock-ups and get back to you.

Gatorman - shodow stripes are no problem. Our boot/bonets will be available in several colors along with some tone-on-tone applications. The Silver/Black design collection will be out soon - I'm a fan of this look myself. Our designs work on any color roof. No part of the existing roof will show through the graphic. Roof designs are $249 for non-sunroof applications and $349 for sunroof designs.

gowest - The #7 design is a 3-D version of the standard check pattern. This will be offered in a variety of colors. I think the best would EB/W MINI combo with an EB/W check pattern roof with the white check boot/bonet design. I had a volunteer who was going to be my beta test for this design but decided to go with another design. If you are interested maybe we could work something out???

I have a Dk Silver/Black Sun/Roof, Can you do #3 or #6 in Silver/Gray with the perforations in the sun roof area. Do you have a picture ?.

 

BadSMini, those designs look pretty damn slick. I emailed you a while ago when you were first posting about roof flags, asking about an Australian flag. You told me that and Aussie flag would be no problem. Would I be able to choose which "concept" style I wanted? Also, would it work as well on a black roof?
I already have bonnet stripes, so I don't need them just yet.

Speaking of it, will you also be doing custom jobs? I'm curious to find a rough estimate how much a big speed racer-esque M would cost (2 color, red m, with thin black outline)...

BadSmini - do you have an email list or something like that so we can get updates when new designes come out? I'm getting my MINI in January and would love to keep in touch and hear about new developments. I'm sure lots of us would be happy to get on such a list.

 

docjchan - Yep we will have those two design in silver/black - I'm working on those now and hope to have them on the official site when it launches on December 1st. They will both be available for sunroof applications with perforations on the front and rear sunroofs.

Agro - Yep - all flags will be avaiable in any of our concept designs - so you could choose the Full roof, 3/4, wave, black/silver (coming soon) and the "rip" (#9) design can be overlaid ontop of any of the designs. The material we use is multi-layered so it does not matter what the color of your roof is.

i have an indi blue cooper with a black roof and the sunroof and i would really love a union jack on the top but i dont want the traditional red white and blue... but i dont know what color combination would look good with my colors....maybe silver and black? would you be able to make that?

Wow... I guess I should have checked the home page first.

 

The Silver/Black and Silver/White Check design will be out within a week. Our other designs will be available in black/silver in the very near future.
