MINI Lovers,

With the growing number of MINIS on the street now, I bet some people are getting pretty creative with DECALS. It would be great to have a photo gallery of just that - MINIS with DECALS - not just roof top and stripes - we want to see side decals, rear emblems, logos, advertisments, EVERYTHING. I personally would like to see pics of MINIS with SIDE graphics - off the shelf or custom. If you have DECALS, please submit your photos to the MEMBERS gallery with the word DECAL in the description so we can all search for them easily. We could start calling them MINI TATTOOS!

CHEERS

I'm in the process of finding a New York Mets decal for my rear window, something worthy of Coop.

L.Mini,

THAT may be the ticket!
I've always considered a TATTOO but have never known what (or where).
MINI or a MINI ICON may be it.
Could be a bit much however!
I think my LEFT shoulder would do ....
You have TATOO(S) L.Mini, Yes?
What was your first - where was it - and where do you recommend the "first" tattoo should go (For males and females). Ok ... off topic here - WE NEED DECAL PICS

Storer - Mets Decal sounds terrific -
Cheers,

Funny you should mention, I have been dying to go to Wrigley Field, and last time I was out in Chi-Town they weren't... I was stuck going to a White Sox/Red Sox game. Nice park at least, plus I got to drive by Soldier Field.

Ya know, I just recently got my first tattoo, and when I was deliberating on what to get, I was seriously considering the MINI wings design, with flames coming off of the wings. It may sound silly, but what I had drawn out looked awesome. Needless to say, I went with something more feminine for my first...but ya never know about tattoo number two. LOL.

Well, can't say I'm surprised.
I also can't imagine there are a lot of people with much "body art" on this forum, so good for you.

Coop's on Injured Reserve after the accident, he should be back in the lineup by the second week of December!

Most of my tattoos are astrologically oriented or Japanese (orboth). I designed all of them myself except one that a friend did. The first one I got was the astrological symbol for pisces on the left side of my lower back.....
They are very addictive.....I now have 6 on my back, (one on my shoulder, one on my spine, one on each side of my back (they are small) and two across all of my lower back....they make one big one, but I got the first done 2 years ago and the recent one last month) one on my abdomen and a band around my ankle. My next project is my foot. All of it is blackwork (tribal looking...but no colors).....
I say best place for first tattoo is the shoulder area.....

As far as decals are concerned....I have NGP window decals that I haven't put on yet....they are silver to match my MINI. I am still thinking of what else to put on there although I am sure a MiniCooperOnline one will pop up at some point!

Tattoos are as cool as owning a MINI. I have six and can't wait to get another. They are habit forming. Just like motoring in a "S".

HollyRN.....You do know about hepatitis, right?
I have a tatoo which was done in Portsmouth(Royal Navy Brit.) 49 years ago. Remembering the squalid conditions of the parlor it's a wonder I didn't die of gangrene.

LOL...yes sir, sirron. In case you didn't notice, the name is HollyRN...as in Registered Nurse. LOL.
Here in Florida, tattoo "parlors" have rigorous standards to meet. They really have changed in the past 10 or so years. I wasn't at all afraid of contracting a bloodborne disease...but boy, I was scared to death that it would hurt like the dickens!!! I don't mind poking people with needles, giving shots and starting IV's...but I was terrified to be on the receiving end for a change

And it really wasn't that bad, was it? I was freaked when I went in for my first one....but after I was like "that's it?"

All places that are licensed to do tattoos or piercing now have to stick to VERY rigid sterilization requirements. Plus since the guy that did my last two tattoos is so good, I just go specifically to him now.....he's awesome! The others I had done at a place that is really good, but not very near me.....so I found someplace I like better and it's closer.

LOL...so true L. Mini!! I made a good friend go with me, since she had gotten a tattoo several weeks earlier. I was sooo suprised that it really didn't hurt. I wouldn't say it was painful, but it was a little uncomfortable. Kind of like if you felt something crawling on you, and you'd want to swat it away. The guy who did mine, he fell in love with my MINI...he said he'd love to do the MINI tattoo I described earlier. We'll see

Yea, one of my friends is a Tattoo artist here in N. Florida, but he's more of a 50's muscle car guy. He's always trying to get me to go under his needle. My cousin just got him to tattoo a full color Virgin Mary from his left wrist to his elbow.
