Headliner delaminating fix

My headliner cloth has delaminated a little from one of the edges.

I tried using a spray adhesive but I guess one day it was so hot that the adhesive stopped sticking

What fixes do you guys recommend?

A new headliner is the only fix. The foam backing on the headliner material starts to disintegrate, there is no cure.

It's a ghetto solution, but I had a similar problem and I found pins that were designed to hold the headliner up. I wouldn't recommend it as a long term fix, but it could keep the thing off your head til you can get it in the upholstery shop.

Wish you were close enough to bring it to our shop. We remove the entire headliner, strip it down, use new real material glue, and recover it with new material. Trying to reglue them with the spray stuff in the car never works.

Get the 3m headliner adhesive and pull its back to where it starts to stay, they spray it on and smooth back the headliner. Otherwise you could get a new headliner and convert to the anthracite ( black ) version.
