Use the Babies r us mat but but a piece of carpet remnant under it (fuzzy side down) thes helpd support the car seat from digging into the leather. huh, old thread. my current commuters are cloth seats so no issues.

i have a recaro young sport for my MCS that i use on occasion.
that seat is so easy to mount/remove that i only put it in when im
going to take the son out with me.
