Which of the two?

What would you rather do to your MINI. Color Code the Arches/Skirts or get the Benfer Performance CF Mirror Covers and the M7 CF Front Splitter? I personally don´t know what I would do as i see it as a tough choice. But i think i would get the CF products first.

oooh good one, I know I'm after the M7 front splitter. I just lowered my mini with m7 springs and now have the itch to add that splitter and CF mirror covers, I would do that if I could afford right now.

sfjames2 - how much does the m7 springs drop the car? and are you happy with the set?

early_apex - how much does it cost to paint the arches in the 1st place, , as i´ve never gone to a body shop to have it quoted...

Ethereal,

Much depends upon the color combo (the canvas as it were) you are working with. For DS/Bl/CR I'd go stealth CF all around. But for the PW/IB/EB and LY, I'd go painted arches and probably a Hamann front wing in body color.

Decisions, decisions.

MGCMAN, good point about the colors, I forgot about that. Brutus is DS with black top and thats why I'd go with the graphite.

The M7 springs, I love. I wish I was bright enough to get pictures on here to show you the drop, but I'm not yet. The springs with my 17 s-lites, if knelt down and look at the very top of the tires has about 1/2 clearance before it would be even with the flares. Brutus has the Aero grill and m7 ultimate grill down below. I recently Crinkle coated the hood scoop black too, looks f-in BADA--. The splitter would set him off even more it's 300 bucks though.

You mean the tow hook? It's free...and it's in your service kit in the boot. Install? Free...unless you don't know how to screw a light bulb

Seriously, just pry off the the little tab at the general location of hook and store it. Then screw on the tow hook. If you like you can paint it like I did. Also, if you're particular, use some teflon pipe tape to help in assisting the timing of the hook so it ends up vertical or horizontal as you prefer. Hope that helps.

If you like the tow hook you also might want to know that that style, since it protrudes from the front bumper, is actually illegal for racing and track driving for safety reasons. Your better of with a trick, folding aluminum/SS setup from www.tcdesignfab.com
