I am looking for a tow hook STRAP. Not the circular ones, but the rope/strap types. I looked and cant find one specifically for MINI. Can someone find the absolute thread size and specifications of the R56 Tow hook "area" and find a tow hook strap that fits it?

 

Macht Schnell (EAS)one for E46 should fit.
I'm going to try one in couple of weeks on my r56s lci.

Basically MachtSchnell one directly fits into the bumper rebar, but the access could be an issue (depends on model) since minis have less room to play with compared to BMWs

in my case, with JCW retrofit rear bumper, I had to partially remove rear bumper and push it from inside to create some room to rotate the head part of the strap.
Hope it will help.
I think it would be way easier with the front.
