Interior/Exterior F56 shift knobs

I have been debating since I picked up my F56 a week ago which shift **** I wanted to go with. I like the look of the older R56 JCW CF/Alcantara shift ****, but I have heard its taller and lengthens the shift which I wouldnt like at all. I also thought about going with ether the Craven Speed or Whalen shift *****.
Has anyone tried multiple of them and have an opinion as to which is best? or anyone with the JCW CF/Alcantara one does it increase the length of the shift since its taller?

Do you think this would fit as a direct replacement? BMW (25 11 7 896 886) Gear Shift ****, Leather https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0068XM1B4/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_v6OJwbXTZQ8YK

The shift pattern on the BMW **** will be "off" by that same angle, when installed on a MINI.

The BMW **** will fit. But be aware that the anti-rotation slot on a BMW shift lever is rotated at an angle of 11 degrees, while the slot on a MINI shift lever is straight across. The shift pattern on the BMW **** will be "off" by that same angle, when installed on a MINI.
It's a moot point. I cannot get the OEM shift **** off, no matter how hard I try, since they've glued it on with the mist insanely strong glue ever, and I give up!! So I'm stuck with it! Pissed off!

The CravenSpeed is very nice. I enjoyed mine when I had it, but I found something I like better. I had one in my R56 and decided to give another version of it a shot in the F56. It's a Sneed4Speed billy club shift ****. The combination of this **** installed on a CravenSpeed adjustable short shifter is IMO an unbeatable combination. Mine is knurled Delrin, but they offer it in a smooth finish too. And if you want to spend the money they have them in aluminum or titanium too.

Back from the archives ... I got a new ICT lighted shift **** for my F54 for xmas. I'm having trouble figuring out how to attach their integrated boot the the original shift boot trim ring.
Any help?
Stock and ICT shown. Did you all just pull the staples and use wire or some other mechanism to attach the ICT boot to the ring?

Well, thank you @darex! My ICT lighted **** is now installed into my F54 Clubman S.
1) It's easy to get power for the LED from the driving mode switch at the base of the shifter. There are three pins -- one for lighting, one for ground, and one for the switch signal. I just tapped in there.
2) The answer to my question above was because the **** came without instructions, and without the double-sided tape that was intended as the new mechanism to attach the bottom of the boot to the snap ring.
3) I was unable to remove the old staples. But the old leather was so thin that it was easy to just gently pull it off around the staples.
4) The new **** not only didn't come with instructions or tape, but the slots on the bottom didn't match the required cutouts for the snap ring. I trimmed with a sharp knife to get it to work.
The final result looks excellent! Lighting in my garage (at night) made it a little tough to get a good pic, but it's lit here. (EDIT: no idea why it's rotated here. It's right on my computer!)

Besides that it looks stylish, its a hell of a fun to have "semi" Automatic stick in height of the steering wheel.
Especially if the steering wheel has the same white POM
Its costy with proper instalment around 1200 Euros, it goes with the original cables, you also can redesign your old R56 if you have.
