I have the Rack Crossbars!!! Any suggestions on Box to attach to Bars? Thinking about Thule Side Kick.. Anyone have one?

 

Has anybody gotten the MINI Roof Box or a different one? Looking at getting a box, but the Mini one seems to be quite long for a Hardtop Cooper S. Going on a long trip and need some extra space. Some of the less expensive ones seem to be quite flimsy... Any recommendations? I already have the "Base" System.

 

Yes, that is exactly what I have!! Perfect size.. The u bolts are not really long enough but if you cut about 1/2 inch off of the thumb screws it secures fine!! Drove from MA to FL no problems!! Make sure you put the sealing tape on exactly per their instructions!! I went I heavy rain, no leaks!! Good luck.

Is the distance between the bars adjustable or is there just a single position for them?

 

The bars are adjustable.
