Wheel arches, side skirts color change

Does anyone know where to get an extra set of all the black trim pieces for the r56 for a good price (i.e. wheel arches, side skirts etc) Everywhere I look the pieces are outrageously priced, like $65 for one arch. I am looking to get another set to paint pure silver to match the car. Another idea I had was sanding them and wrapping them in vinyl. Has any one ever taken this approach? If I did the vinyl, finding a silver to match the paint would be very tricky (might have to get it custom printed) Or perhaps I would do a completely different color to really make it stand out. Just looking to get some input, thoughts, ideas or concerns on the subject. Thanks!!

My only recommendation is to look for some on ebay. Unfortunately $65 is pretty much as low as you're going to get from a vendor or Mini dealership.

If you do a vinyl wrap, I'd skip the sanding. You'll hardly notice a surface texture difference, if any at all.

I had this done when I purchased the JCW body kit, well worth it at the end of the day. Sadly though, my previous set of CCW's chewed up my arches, so I have to get new set of arches painted and side marker filled for the clean look. It'll look sick if you do it! BUT.....you'll want to paint the full side skirts and bumps if you do that though...

Thanks for the input everyone. I think I might try the vinyl first. I have a friend that can get the 3m scotchprint for a pretty good price. If that doesn't work out, I will go the painting route
